I’d bet that you fall into that category, too. Because you’re here, hunting for a way to guarantee your child doesn’t have to feel the stress and restrictions of financial chains.
The truth is: it’s not about the money. Yep. I - Laura Weston, finance and money-mastery mentor - said it. Because it’s not about the money. It’s about the opportunities that money can gift or restrict us from experiencing.
Money can set us free. Or it can handcuff us to a life of worry and stress.
Arming your teenager, before they fly the nest and become independent peacocks, with money-mastering knowledge gives them their best shot. It encourages them to soar to freedom, and allows a head start toward the life they’ve got planned.
Can you imagine handing over your child a pet rock for entertainment?
The world has evolved. Social media is a part of our daily lives. We’re fighting stereotypes, and embracing inclusivity. We’re breaking taboos in half and talking about mental health openly. Thank goodness.
But there’s been one thing that’s been left in the past:
OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD MONEY.
And considering that money and mental health go hand in hand, it’s a topic we need to revolutionise and bring into the 21st century.

Peacocks aren’t hatched with the bright, beautiful feathers we know and love.
It takes 3 years for their feathers to start blooming. But once they’re through, their feathers are there for good. Money mastery unites your teenager with their feathers, one lesson at a time.
From saving techniques to investments and understanding financial jargon, your teenager will learn how to make the most out of their money. Plus, how to protect themselves against sales pitches and scammers.
Every lesson is designed to arm your teenager with the know-how and actionable material for real life situations. You’ll find no reference to Pi and algebraic formulas here.
And when your teen understands how to interact with money, the fear evaporates. Those financial chains snap. And they’re ready to take on the world.
Just in time for University, a gap year, or strutting into the working world.
Their knowledge will be passed down to their children, and their children’s children. So, you see, investing in your child’s financial future drip feeds into every generation to come.
Here at Savvy Peacocks, we offer our self-study Savvy Students programme for instant access at home.
Designed to accommodate our signature P.E.G.S system, your teen will learn how to do the following, all from the comfort of your own home:
Teaching financial literacy for your PSHE lessons has never been so easy. Hand over the reins to us. We’ll make sure our resources are differentiated for ability, age range, and relevancy. Plus, our lessons are designed with the teaching standards in mind.
We’ll cater to
every type of learner, making sure we use visual aids, roleplay and drama exercises, and engaging references to the pupil’s lives. Most importantly,
we’ll teach your class how to plan, earn, gain, and save money
for a wealthy and liberating future.
Plus, you don’t have to plan a thing. We take care of everything.

When I tell people that money can be exciting, I’m usually met with a whole lot of resistance.
Why? Because there’s so much fear surrounding your finances. And I’ve seen it first hand.
I worked with one of the world’s largest banks as a branch manager for 20 years, and I saw a massive range of people. One thing remained similar though: talking about money openly caused scowls, flinches, and furrowed brows.
I’m also a mum. So, I understand the inquisitive and curious nature every child embodies when they’re young. It feels like it disappears when they hit teenage-hood, right? That they’re no longer interested in learning? The truth is, even though they’ll try to hide it with sighs and eye rolls, when it comes to money, they’re at their most curious in their teenage years. Because, pretty soon, they’ll be spreading their wings, taking a peek over the edge, ruffling their feathers, and flying the nest.
The finance industry is full of complicated vocabulary, unnecessary confusion, and a “grey” reputation. It’s my mission to revolutionise that. To add bright shades of purple, blue, and green to the finance world. I’m here to make things simple. To make things colourful. To arm your teenager with the skills they need to give them their best shot at financially free future.
Being a parent is no joke. It’s a full-time gig with zero annual leave. So, I’ve created short and snappy weekly podcast episodes to help your own knowledge and confidence surrounding your finances.
We all know that our kids learn by example. So, tune in every Thursday with new episodes. So far, I’ve covered topics like “multiple income streams”, “getting clear on insurances”, and “how our next generation can use credit effectively”.
This podcast was launched to deliver high-value information in a super short amount of time. You’ll finish every episode with a money-mastering skill that you can implement for your family’s future instantly. Play your part in your teen’s journey to financial freedom and listen to the podcast today.
